Presentation of the Lord, the blessing of the candles that will be used in the churches will take place. Candles are symbols of Christ who is the light of the world. Candles are also symbols of human hearts afire with grateful Love. May the burning hearts in us today continue to glow ever more brightly until Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, will hold us in her arms and present us to the Lord.
